Press-Fit

ENNOVI’s Press-Fit technology offers an excellent alternative for creating reliable electro-mechanical interconnects without using solder. Press-Fit interconnects can be adapted to support a wide range of application requirements, including PCB-to-PCB stacking interconnects, fuse holders, molded modules, smart junction boxes, controllers, lighting, and various other custom applications.

Solder Bearing Leads (SBL)

SBL technology creates leads with a precise amount of solder already on them, such as our iconic “claw design”. This eliminates guesswork for applying the right amount of solder or flux. Instead, you just push on the SBL claw and enter the reflow process to achieve a soldering consistency of 100%.

Insulation Displacement Contact (IDC)

Our IDC technology provides an efficient and solder-free method of creating robust connections to magnet wires. Its integrated insulation stripper removes heavy varnish coatings to ensure full bare-wire contact, delivering highly reliable, repeatable, and gas-tight interfaces. Optimized for low resistance (<2mΩ at 20mV) and high current capacity, IDC’s spring force beams generate high normal force for corrosion-resistant durability. ​

Our self-soldering interconnects have been tested to meet Class III IPC solder joint requirements, and our Press-Fit interconnects are validated in accordance with IEC 60352-5 standards and tested against various automotive specifications.
