Applications

ENNOVI’s IDC technology enables reliable, solderless magnet wire connections, supporting high-current performance, fast assembly, and durable operation across electric motors, generators, transformers and other power applications.

Battery systems in cars, buses, trucks, subway systems, motorcycles, bicycles and maritime vessels designed with prismatic cells

How it works

  1. Option for Press-Fit
  2. Option for connector or solder tail
  3. Option for sockets
  4. IDC
  5. Spring force beams

High-current performance. Low Resistance.

Electrification systems demand interconnects that deliver superior reliability, repeatability, and high-current performance. Our IDC’s integrated insulation stripper removes the heavy coated varnish on magnet wire to provide full surface contact with the bare stripped wire, resulting in strong, repeatable, and highly reliable interfaces.

High reliability, solderless connection

Meet automotive requirements for vibration, mechanical & thermal shock as defined by IEC 60352-3

Resilient high normal force

IDC’s spring force beams generate high normal forces and create gas tight, corrosion resistant connection to the wire.

Low resistance, high current

Delivers low contact resistance (<2mΩ at 20mV) for high current capacity and complies with RoHS standards.

Easy to terminate, built to integrate

IDC simplifies the termination process by with an enhanced pocket design. Its spring force beams generate high normal force to create gas-tight connections and supports integration with connectors, solder tails, sockets, jumpers/shorts, Press-Fit and more.
