Eliminate secondary processes

Traditional methods for sealing busbars use secondary operations to dispense potting material into a cavity around the busbar after it has been over-molded with thermoplastic.

Other methods use rubber O-rings or gaskets around the busbar. Secondary dispensing is slow and costly, while rubber gaskets can leak. ENNOVI-SealTech overcomes all these limitations.

Cost efficiency

ENNOVI-SealTech is significantly lower in cost as compared to traditional potting processes without compromising on sealing performance. It provides both fill and adhesion for a strong seal during normal injection molding processes.

ENNOVI-SealTech has been tested to achieve no leakage at 7 bar force, even after thermal cycling and aging. Options for either shrink tubing or tape accommodate virtually any busbar shape and design parameters. It is also compatible with various types of metals and plastics, such as PA66, PBT, PC, and more.
