We manufacture disk clamps using cold forging progressive stamping combined with precision machining, delivering high productivity, consistent dimensional quality, and up to 60% material savings. This integrated approach ensures cost-efficiency without compromising performance.

Capabilities:

We form the separator plate using progressive cold forging and customized electroless nickel plating chemistry to reduce surface contamination. Our process outperforms the requirements on cleanliness, resolving long-standing condensation issues, making us the sole qualified supplier for over five years.

We replaced a plastic part with a cold-forged metal bracket, achieving better cleanliness and corrosion resistance for HAMR drives. Our plating process, followed by a special bake, forms a protective oxide layer for improved long-term reliability.

By collaborating early in the design phase, we helped combine five components into a single piece. Together with our Liquid Forging that has lower porosity, leakage risks were mitigated.
